Seattle’s Suburban Eastside Great Jumping Off Point for all that’s Great about Washington

The article details that Seattle’s Eastside now features quintessential Washington state activities. “The Eastside became the less-crowded jumping off point for the best things about the state of Washington: wilderness, beer, creative food, and outdoor recreation.”

The section on Woodinville describes how the area just outside of Seattle became a wine hub, despite no grapes growing there. Also included is that Woodinville has the densest concentration of wine tasting rooms in America. “You can taste more small-vintage wines from tiny winemakers in a day than you can in famed locales like Napa Valley or Sonoma.”

Touring and Tasting – Woodinville, Washington

Woodinville Wine Country was featured in the Spring/Summer issue of Touring & Tasting in an article titled, “Woodinville, Washington.”

The article features a three-day Woodinville Wine Country itinerary, beginning with J. Bookwalter Tasting Studio where visitors can enjoy the outdoor patio or immerse themselves in the “library vibe this winery captures so well.” After, the author suggests heading to Chateau Ste. Michelle and one of the 30 wineries that are walking distance from this winery. Woodinville’s Warehouse District is highlighted as a spot to visit during day before enjoying a nice dinner at  the Fireside Lounge. For the third day, the author suggests Brian Carter Cellars and DeLille Cellars, “one of the first to earn a five-star ‘outstanding’ rating from Robert Parker, Jr.”
